The 3M™ Whole House Water Treatment Media A-050P is an activated carbon filter media base used in Residential and Commercial applications to reduce chlorine taste and odor. Each particle of activated carbon provides a large surface area, allowing maximum exposure to the active sites within the filter media. One pound of activated carbon has an approximate surface area equal to 100 acres.
